Default Heres a dumb question about oil.

I own a 01 lx 4 door and my owners manual says use 5w-30 or 10w-30, but the oil cap says 0w-20. I have been using valvoline 10w30 duroblend synthetic blend. I was wondering if this is what i should be using or should i switch to 5w30 or the 0w20?

Use what's listed in your owner's manual.

My 2001 manual says 5W20. I've heard this called "sex in a canoe oil" Why? Its F@#%ing close to water. That being said, it frequently gets down to 10 below zero around here, and on a cold start those cams want oil NOW. That 5W20 Mobil 1 moves out right now....
