1988 CRX SI...just got it today!!
I picked up a 88 crx si taday from cali... NO RUST!!!!..
i live in Massachusetts and its impossible to find one with no rust..only thing is cali sun faded the paint and the seats are comeing a part at the seams..any one know where i can get seat covers for the si seats? or what to use on faded paint?...

Im pretty sure the only thing to cure faded paint... Is sandpaper!
I would go to an upholsterer and see if they can find a material that best matches the style thats currently in your interior.

Ironically I just got back from driving my 88HF I just got from Cali. You have a way further drive than me being in Ohio. Hopefully you aren't the one that brought it back.
Buff out the paint with a high speed buffer. As far as the seat covers, there are usually some nice ones on egay, but I would recomend either taking it to an upostry shop, or buy seats in better condition.

Those are good starts. At least you have an Si. My car is almost half the power of yours. I will be doing the same mods too btw. I am more interested in mpg than performance. I have another CRX for going fast.

Yea the ebay covers are cool but ..for about the same price im haveing mine redone in the factory covers..is ebay a good source for parts,intake,exhaust..? im also looking to get right and left front fenders..maybe in carbon fiber?..any input would be great..thanks..P.S im new to hondas..
