I would double check it again. That does seem like an odd setting.

If you just degreed in the primary's then you are about 4 degrees off on each cam, as they are 4 degrees (centerline) different than the VTEC lobes.

i couldnt switch the pins in the rocker arms so that vtec would be locked. the only pin that would come off was the pin from the vtec rocker arm . the other pin would not come off is there a special way of removing that pin so i can degree the cams again

Turn the rocker arm on it's side and tap it a couple of times, the pin should just fall out.

You just need patience + diligence. If it moves when oil pressure activates VTEC, you can move it.

i just redegreed the cams now. This time i locked vtec. These new settings seem more realistic but i would still appreciate some input. I have Pro 1 cam gears and now its on the +6 line for exhaust and +1 line for intake. The car has a very rough idle and turns off after about 1 min of idling

Pull some fuel on your S300 @ idle.

if the idle gets worse by taking fuel, add a bit till u hear the engine idle better... thats if u dont have a wideband of course.

could this be because the cam generates lesser vacuum? making the idle run rich
