Do I need a camber kit for 1.2 - 1.3 inch drop on base 97?
I've narrowed my choice of springs -- sort of. Don't want to go too low. My question is if I use Tein S. Techs, will I need a camber kit as well or is there enough play in the OEM setup to adjust toe, etc?
Thanks.
Thanks.
It's arguable, I am dropped 2 inches and my negative camber causes some pretty horrendous tire wear due to camber
, however my car handles considerably better with negative camber
, so it's more of a trade off
I am not sure how many degrees you'll be off on your camber but your toe will definitely be off on the front and the back so you'll need to get a good alignment. One of my friends made the mistake of putting it off and he payed for it with some pretty crappy handling for a couple weeks!

Thanks -- yeah, alignment is assigment one. Changed my mind on the S.techs and went with Eibach ProKit instead. I know there's another thread going about a guy with a Fifth Gen. with Eibachs so I'm gonna follow that closely and then post my own info when I have it.
