Default quick question about an ECU (1995 Civic EX)

Does anyone know what ECU model number i may have. I have a 95 EJ1 Civic 5 speed D16z6 and planning to swap it with a Built D15b. Would i need to get an ecu that comes with the D15b engine? or can i just use the one i have now?

Ideally you should get it chipped, but a stock P28 will run a d15b vtec just fine.

what about it?

are you asking if it can be chipped? or if it can be used ... both answers are yes

to have it chipped and have a basemap loaded on it you can look to spend around 60-100 bucks depending on who does it

yeah keep the p28 and have someone "socket it" and then get it tuned with crome you should be good to go... so do you have the p08?

A stock P08 will also run better & smoother than a chipped P28 with P08 maps. That is unless it's tuned.
More than likely the stock P28 will run it smoother as well.

Makes me wonder now......So a p08 will run better and smoother but yet the p28 will run smoother as well? got me confused now haha

a p08 would be best on a stock d15b since urs is build it would be best to use a chipped p28 since u need to tune it for your build
