Arent their Pro series, comparable to their stg 2 cams from old?

If so, I think they recommend to upgrade the valvetrain.

if u are not going to rev over 8000 rpm. stock valve springs and retainers are fine. i am running oem ctr cams with stock b16a valve sprints and retainers. and i never rev over 8000 rpm

Pro 1s need valvetrain. CTR cams do not even come close to the lift of Pro 1s.
