Whats going on H-T
Im getting ready to get a valve adjustment, i wanted to know if brand name mattered when it came to a valve cover gasket. I found one on ebay for $10 and $10 for shipping. Should i get it through an auto parts store for 40-50 bucks instead or from honda?

And also is 125 to 150 for a vale adjustment a good price?

Do it your self.

I got my valve cover from Autozone. Its fine.

Valve adjustment should take you about 2-3 hours if youve never done it before

 

how much is the gasket at autozone?

 

I bought one a while ago. It was 46.99 at Autozone.

 

A honda vc gasket is only $8.91 (www.hondaautomotiveparts.com) and the entire gasket set which includes vc gasket, plug seals and mounting stud seals is $34.82 + shipping.
