I recently pulled off my windshield wipers to freshen them up with a new coat of paint, and being a douche, forgot to label which is which. so the question is:

which arm goes where (I.E. long arm, short wiper on the drivers side)

lay em where they should go with the wipers on the arms, then use logic and see which way covers the most of the windshield

 

longer is drivers side and shorter is pass..

smart idea though i did that to my hatch and its the dumbest but when looking at the car from the front it makes a difference

 

Are you positive?
I know that the longer wiper blade goes on the driver's side, but I thought it's the shorter arm.

None of the pics I have show the arms well enough to check.


When I painted the arms I found the easiest way to tell was to put the smaller wiper on one of the arms and try it on the passenger's side. If it almost touches the passenger windshield trim then it's right, if not then switch them.

 

i was talking about the blades, but yea ur right , the shorter arm goes on driver side w/ the longer blade and the longer arm goes on pass with the shorter blade
