WHITE SMOKE IN HEAD BUT NOT COMING OUT OF EXHAUST...
I have a feeling this B16A's headgasket is gonna give out soon...I noticed coolant/oil mix on my engine coming from the corner where the head and block meet up where you have to put in a flat head screw driver to pry head off block...
So this has to be the headgasket I take it...Also, its weird because there is no white smoke coming from my exhaust and the car drives fine...Well to me at least but when I pop off that oil cap, there is white smoke coming out of it...Not much yet, so I baby the car....
So can someone confirm this? Will be picking up OEM headgasket then...I take it the Del Sol DOHC VTEC should work just fine even if its the 1st Gen B16A I have...

just because it doesn't blow white smoke, doesn't mean that the head gasket isn't blown. it could still be blown. did you check the oil? coolant? does it over heat? and yes, i would say the head gasket you stated would work.
to me it sounds like u not only have a blown head gasket but a slightly warped head and some stretched bolts.
so to confirm this and not just go on opinion alone... do a compression test.. im sure the results will let u know if u have a messed up head gasket or not...
if it is your headgasket make sure to check the head and block for warpage.. and buy either arp headstuds or buy brand new oem headbolts....
if anything is warped get it milled.
if u dont take these precautions u will lose money... and time. and ultimately have to do it again.

I appreciate the info guys...As far as oil levels, they are normal...No overheating what so ever...The car drives fine...No funny smell out the exhaust...
So upgrade the headstuds when doing so as well...I thinking the same thing since the head is coming off...I pray that the head isn't warped...Will go search on how to do compression test...Thanks again...
