Local guys should start setting up bait cars...So we can catch some of these fvckers. I'd be down to bait my car while me and a few others wait nearby to kick some ***.
I'm all for that.
Let's jack up these fools. Hell, if I had heard my alarm, the creeps would've caught a .45 ACP slug to the brain bucket.
I wish we'd do something from Middle East justice: chop these bitches hands off when they're caught. Let everyone know that stumpy was a thieving bastard.
Mine was relatively simple and cheap:
Cluster, center console annihilated, and valve cover, strut tower bar, and oil cap jacked.
Cut the harnesses of my fogs but didn't take them. I have 6 broken wires (2 at the AC - I have either full blast when on max setting or nothing in between) and my mirror switch disappeared for some reason.
Went from this:

to this:

Got her running, though. OEM intake, valve cover, and oil cap in place while I wait for the replacements. Found one of the valve cover washers and a screw rattling in by the cam gears.
Took off the stock valve cover and upper timing belt cover. Didn't feel like going through the enormous PITA to get at the lower valve cover so don't know if anything else is down there. After my CHP inspection, will probably take to a stealership and tell em i need my timing belt inspected or changed or something.

gdamn they picked that sht clean.
Sorry for the loss, EBP em1s are my favorite too. It just sucks it's a magnet for thieves.
But if the chassis is still clean... why not a project rebuild over the course of xx years?
Nice of the thieves to leave you some wires and your rear swaybar.
****, this makes me sad/paranoid just lookin at it.
