SOHC ZC cam gear same as A6?

Are d16a6 and sohc zc cam gears the same? I have a zc head that needs a cam gear

Yep, you know the SOHC ZC is pretty much the same as a D16A6 except the sohc zc has more aggresive camshaft and alot better pistons for higher compression i believe.

I have had a DOHC ZC in the past and now that i look back on it i would rather take a SOHC ZC now then a dohc zc because of the aftermarket support for the D series motors compared to the oddball dohc zc.

Nope, just the cam. And it's barely better.
