I have to pull the IM off my head as the hoses for the heat exchanger are leaking and I want to delete my ABS. Can I reuse the thermal gasket for the IM or do I have to buy a new one? I wouldn't think it would go bad as it's a hard plastic and not a regular gasket but I'm not sure.

 

Yes, you can reuse it. Just make sure that it has not deformed to the point that it blocks the ports.
