Default 98 B18B1

My cousin just bought a 93 Civic that has a B18B1 in it. He wants to mod it but we're trying to see what's the most effective way to go here.

GSR Head swap with supporting mods: Intake, fuel, tuning, clutch.

Stock engine but turbo with supporting mods.

Obviously the turbo setup will be faster but as far as cost goes. I am having a little trouble locating a fully built GSR head to swap over and what other parts are mandatory to complete the swap. I know I could get a full turbo kit for 3k + supporting mods.

Any suggestions, ideas, etc...?

All depends on how much money you have.. Spend a couple hundred bucks on a vtec head... go ls/vtec.. would make for a great daily driver

or

throw together a cheap, nice turbo kit.. and make more power..

The LS tranny will be good for boost, but if you plan on staying all motor.. I would most def reccomend getting a gsr or b16 tranny.. depending on the gearing you want.

Yea, apparently I can get a GSR Head for like $500. Then all I need are dowel pins and something else to make the swap complete?

When I go turbo though, i'm going with a FI56. Thing should make for a sweet *** turbo 1.8. Wohoo!

Any recommendations on an intake manifold to pair up well with a GSR head?
