Default Homemade front Bumper lip- Help!?!

So i just saw that thread on here about the homemade bumper lips and am curious to see how good i could make it look, but i went back on here to look at exactly what people were using and the thread has been deleted or out dated...

Could anyone inform me about what the best thing to use is or what to look for at a local home depot or such store....? Also, does anyone have any input concerning the installation; instructions/guidelines would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

Honest opinion?

Junkyard and get a 94/95 lip.

I bought one in awesome condition for $2

Haha yeah I actually went in there looking for a hood for my other car, someone had already taken off the bumper and had hidden it, so I snagged a couple bolts and the lip.

I was pleased.

A 94/95 lip would fit okay on a 96 OEM bumper?

You have to mod it a bit but it fits.

I trimmed about an inch off the middle section and drilled approx 8 holes through that lip and the underside of my bumper and used zip ties there.

The sides I used the stock bolts for the end bolts and then used self tapping ones for the next hole up
