I have as stated a 94 accord ex f22b1 engine. I had a vafc in my car before it was stolen. Ever since the unit was removed the ecu is throwing the map sensor and the vtec solenoid codes. I put another map on and checked the code it cleared, until i turned the car on. The it reappered. I've tried three different map sensors. No luck. The car is running really ruff. It seems like it's not getting enough fuel at first. i have to rev it up so it doesn't cut out. Is there a way to check the ecu for damage. I need to get it running decently while i save up for a h22 swap. Please any knowledge would be appreciated, thanks to all

 

If you vafc was stolen you need to either replace it or put the wiring back to stock.

 

So if i take the harness out that was spliced into the car's harness. is should be ok

 

correct turn it back to stock

 

Thanks for the info. I did just that and the two codes are gone. Vtec is working. I just need to adjust the fuel pressure. Thanks for the feedback.

 

is the 96-97 ex ecu (5spd) as the 94-95?
