code 9 problem

Default code 9 problem

i have a 91 civic sedan...car is converted from obd0-obd1 dpfi to mpfi.. i had a d15b vtec with a chipped p28 and i had check engine light code 9 then i swapped it for a ls motor with a pr4 ecu..still code 9 then now i have my ls/vtec which i swapped from my integra running perfect..then still code 9...i had my wiring done at redzone..but he might have sent it into rywire...but he couldnt figure it out also...some help plzz...my car is starting to studder/jerk when i drive it..

I don't think a code 9 would cause your car to studder or jerk when you drive it. and since it is happening on two different engines with two different distributers it has got to be your wiring. I had this same problem with my obd1 z6. One wire was just in the wrong spot on the jumper harness I was using for the distributer. Double and triple check your wiring

ok..so today i went to redzone...and had jeremy check out my wiring again..and at first he just took a glance..but this time..he actually counted..and i was 1 over...so he fixed that problem..so now my car is running perfect like before no more check engine light...thanks to Jeremy at RedZone Performance two Thumbs Ups!!!
