Just bought my 3rd PY shell
So now I have three. I was almost done putting the second together from the first and now bought a third. I will do a build thread since this is my 5th Type R shell and I have yet to do one. That is unless someone buys it the way it sits. What do you guys think JDM front and Ls motor sound good for it?

thanks bro, I plan on putting this 2000 py together quick, I'm driving my other 2000 py theft recovery, but it still needs some work. here is a pic and you can see the third 2000 py w/jdm front under the car cover behind the rsx shell.

any pics of past rebuilds since this is your possible fifth?</TD></TR></TABLE>
This is the fifth Type R I have owned, I currently just have the three 2000 phoenix yellows. I also had a 2001 py, and 2001 painted kaiser silver that had a k20a2. Both 2001's ended up becoming parts cars. My friend swapped the k20 into his 96 Civic hatchback.
Above is the one that I'm finally driving, so far the only Type R out of the five I have rebuilt. I have pics of the others too.

i would just keep the usdm front since you already have the hood fenders and headlights, use the money you would spend on the jdm front to put a b18c5 in.

good luck with the build. keep us posted. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I was just kidding about the Jdm front and Ls engine. I like the Usdm front!!!, my banged up shell (under the blue car cover) already came with Jdm front installed. Plus I have a Civic hatch with Jdm Dc2 front end so I'm a little bored with them. It also seems like everyone in my area also has a jdm front on their car. The one with the white wheels is what I am currently driving. It too was stripped to the bone, but I put a b18c5 swap back in as well as Type R interior, suspension and kept Usdm front. I am out of Type R parts because of that car, so I'll have to see what I can do with this one.
