Rims/tires info request.
What should I look for in rims other then of course style and color which is completely up to me.
I have been looking for months on rims. I am a daily driver so Im considering 15s - 17s on my sedan, no more.
I do understand the more expensive brand have a light rim which means the cars has better millage, while a cheap rim would be heavier and your gas millage would sink.
What other things should I be looking into. Any particular brand?
What are the other reasons cheaper rims are no good for cars? Does the color fade? Are they more **** to bend if you hit a hard bump. When you get curb scratches is there a difference?
Whats the weight of stock rims?
And question about tires. low pros vs. reg size for 4X100 offset.
Keep in mind i put close to 10000 miles on my car a year..
thanks

You raise some very good questions.
A couple of them are answered in the FAQ topic stickied at the top of this forum:

You'll find links to wheel weight websites in the FAQ.

The FAQ has a sequence of steps telling you how to choose rims and the proper tire size for your car. It also gives the best tire sizes for various diameters for the most popular Honda/Acura models.
Hopefully others will chime in to answer the rest of your questions.

The weight of the rim will not effect mileage to any noticeable amount. You are probably better off getting something like 15s where both the rim and the tire are cheaper compared to 17s.
