options for mounting rear speakers
Sorry no pics but I mounted some 6x9's on the hatch cover, I took some 6x9 speaker boxes and cut them to fit on the cover.
The contour is'nt flat, its like this from the side -----____-----.
Then I cut a hole for the speakers and I glued and brad nailed the cover and speaker boxes together.
btw the speakers and cover dont bounce around or rattle at all.
You can also track down some rear hatch cover brackets that have the holes for small speakers, they look like 4- to-5 inche holes. they look way too small for me.
for a long time i just had some speaker boxes sitting right on the rear seats, you could just hide some boxes in the trunk too.
btw the rear speaker wires are hiding behind some interior panels very close to the brake light harness.
