Those two ports on the bigger one is for fluid to go in and out, I believe to cool/lubricate the VSS. If your car had that one originally, and you put the one with the yellow gear, than you will need to connect those two hoses that originally went to the bigger VSS so they don't spill fluid everywhere. I believe the fluid is power steering fluid, not sure though. As for the cable, just make sure you pushed the cable all the way in that VSS...on top of that, check to make sure that the VSS you're using is long enough to reach down in the tranny...measure with a thin stick or something like that...

You may have also pulled the cable out of the back of the speedometer while putting the cable back in to the VSS...so you might want to check that too...good luck!

Your the second person that has told me is for ps fluidbut i removed my ps,can i just connect those two hoses together?

Regarding the VSS cable, it wont reach the sensor with the yellow plug the cable is short...I believe because the bigger VSS sat taller? any idea what i can do??

Yes, you can just connect those two hoses together as I stated above. As for the cable, buy the cable that came with that tranny that the yellow geared vss was originally from. That should fix your problem. You said it was another b-series, and it is cable, so it's from a 90-93 Integra or OBD0 B16 tranny right...

That should fix your problem though...

They can be somewhat of a bitch to do, but have patience and you will be able to do it without too much hassle...
