All right me and my friend were arguing about jdm side markers and wether they are supposed to come on with the lights or I'd they are supposed to just be turn signals that only blink when you use your signals.....I know its personal preference when you hook them up but we just wanted to know the original way they were used

no they arent intended to, but you can if you want to... its all in the wiring. Mine run with my parking lights. I dont like the flashing w/ turn signals.

yeah but hes asking how its done in japan (stock)

 

In Japan, they are only for turn signals
