Default brembo evo 8 calipers on a civic?

I was seeing if anyone had tried to use Mitsubishi evo 8 calipers on a civic?. I may be able to get a free or cheap set of them and was pondering if it was worth trying to come up with some sort of adapter plates to use them? thanks

The way our calipers' brackets bolt up, you'd have to use a large rotor to space it out far enough to make any adapter. But by all means, get the cheap/free set! Worst you can do is find out what dimensions they are and share them.

it is not cost effective to invest so much time and effort into fabricating those brakes to your car when there are so many other options available.

I can get a set for free so I am pondering making mounts for them and seeing if they work. factory fronts are 12.5 rotors. Yes I have seen the different setups and have pondered doing the si2000 brakes. I do not care at all about the shiny red bling factor that comes with the evo so that is not the motivation. you can pick up a set of front and rear calipers for around 300-400 on average but have seen them sell for half of that.

I'm already "borrowing" the idea of using the Evo's turbo system, wouldn't mine "borrowing" the brakes if it is at all possible.
