it's a d16z6. i swapped the head for the kid because a piece of a valve was cracked from some nitrous dosing and too much advance. it runs much better but is still a little weak and we found that #2 is sparking but not firing. the timing is dead on. i am about to change that injector...even though it is clicking, could it not be getting the fuel? we changed that spark plug. i hooked up a vaccum gauge and it reads 20 which is strong right? so with that, the compression should be good from the pistons? i am going to try the injector but if any of you have any ideas...i'd be glad to hear them.
did you do a compression check?
after then, see if you are getting spark in the cyl, if you are, take out spark plug in that cyl, and run the motor for a very short time, and smell to see if fuel is being injected.
