Default 98 spec JDM ITR motor on 9-12 psi. Facotry LSD?

my question is about my JDM ITR tranny (4.7) with the factory LSD... with I shred it to pieces making around 300whp? Is the tranny too short for boost? Im thinking of getting something like a GSR tranny and putting an aftermarket differential in it, but if the ITR tranny can handle this kind of power I may not.

Another option is replacing some of the gears in the ITR tranny with LS or GSR gears? That is of course if the ITR LSD will withstand this kind of power... Any help is appreciated, thanks.

The tranny will hold up fine, and no the gears are not too short for boost.
