Default Separating the ECU board from the case?

I have a broken P75 ECU into which I would like to swap a PR4 OBDI board for mounting reasons. It would appear that this is perfectly possible, given the locations of the screw holes, sockets, etc. BUT, it seems like Honda did not think that screwing the board to the case with seven screws was enough to hold it on. They also cemented it on. And trying to separate the board by pressing it off makes some nasty, crackling sounds that I don't like to hear (but fortunately only on the broken P75). Does anyone have any experience with doing this sort of thing? Is there perhaps some kind of solvent that can dissolve whatever glue Honda used here?

I just push by the case with my thumbs. Once you "break" one loose, you are good. Make sure you unscrew the transistor by the ECU plugs
