Default Car won't start after replacing valve

I pulled the head off of a d15b8 to replace a valve. Also replaced headgasket and valve seals. I adjusted the valve lash afterwards and the timing marks are correct. I'm only getting 30 psi per cylinder on a compression test. Any ideas why the compression is so low? TIA

i would re-check your timing, in case it jumped a few teeth after you did it. there is a possibility that a valve or valves were bent in the process, but i hope not. how did it run before you pulled the head??
