haha...i just got done talking to the dude he seems real cool...he said he'll let me drop by and help him out with the car...not just the swap but to build it up...so yea...
Friends can turn in foes anytime if your not careful. I would just keep the itr and try to fix it. If you don't know this guy personally and it doesn't sound professional then don't do it. Sounds like a person thats just going to rip you off and take a load of money. He might even just replace your parts with cheaper versions and you won't even know. Just get a helms manual or look online for help or get some buddies to help you out. I do the work myself for this reason since many mechanics are out there to drain your wallet.
If you don't know the guy, don't give him your car. You're basically paying him to steal your car.
Of course, if you were street racing, that's probably the best thing that could happen. Because, you wouldn't deserve a car anyways.

If your gonna fix the car and you plan on spending 2k to do so why not take it to a reputable shop in your area rather then some guy who you don't know? Because he sounds cool
Think it over my friend cause I won't feel bad if I see a thread saying your car was stolen

hahaha... yea....well i was thinking about writing a paper that says he took my motor to get it fix and he is responsible for anything that happens to it like it getting stolen, putting in wrong parts, after effect that the motor dont run how is suppose to(cause of blown motor)...hge would also have to sign it....so what do you guys think...and he said he will take pictures of the build while doing it and show me the recipts and also im able to go over to his house and help him out....so is this steal a bad idea....i mean he said hes good with these motor....
I don't care if he's the pope. I wouldn't let a stranger touch my car, without him being employed to do so, and I had a written guarantee between the company owner and myself.
Why not take it to King Motorsports? They're in Wisconsin, you know.

no you are letting him have your car. whether he gives it back or not is up to him. Is he a licensed and insured auto repair business? A piece of paper doesn't mean **** when your engine is gone and the car is stripped and you can't find the guy. I know a guy down here who had a guy like that who was gonna do a swap for him. He sent his lude over with a freshly rebuilt tranny and an H22 to go in. A few weeks later he towed his car back, he found an ad online where the guy sold his engine and tranny as well as parts off of his car.
If the dude is so good he should come over and work at YOUR place when you are there watching him.

Dude you have about 15 responses already and they all said the same thing...IT IS A BAD IDEA....now here are your logical choices
1. Pull the head off see what went wrong and fix it yourself if possible
2. Take it to a real shop
3. Have some random guy who sounds cool and is telling you he's great with hondas do whatever he may please with your stuff
But seriously you have gotton plenty responses and im not learning anything from this thread so good luck with your choices

hahaha...alrite...but what are some good shops in wisconsin milwaukee...dont want to go to far because i dont have a trailer...and should i take out the motor first or just leave it in the car and tow the car there...what would be less money spent...
