has anyone done this?
swap a sunroof from a sunroof hatch over to a non sunroof hatch
besides cutting the hole and running the wiring..does it bolt in?

 

you can allways just get the actuall roof from a hatch with a sun roof and put it on your car the roofs come off i think some guy remvoved the suroof from his si rex and put a roof on with out a sun roof

 

after market sunroof will go in with hacking the roof, but if you want OEM, you need to find a good Si without rust. the one with the sunroof has extra beams supports for the sunroof. check out Wes page, he decided to take his sunroof out:

hey wassup rey....i have a donner SI and the sunroof is good...i pulled down the headliner and it looks like it'll just bolt up to a non sunroof hatch after cutting the hole..
edit: after reading the page...so the roof has to be reskined for it to work?....
