My cousin ask me to purchase him an WS2 exhaust for his si off of craigslist. he is from nor-cal and the seller is from so-cal. isn't the pipping of the ws2 stainless steel vs the cast iron looking pipping of the ws1. the seller post a picture of this exhasut as the ws2.


this look like the same pipping on my ws1 exhaust. i'm confuse now. APEXi doesn't have any information about the exhaust on their website so I can't go to them for answer. and isn't the ws1 exhaust are discontinue before the new si was release?

 

I've had this debate before, in the Accord forum. I have hte WS1, and the WS2 has the same aluminized steel piping as the WS1, the only stainless is the muffler.

My complaints, and those shared by others, is that it hangs low in addition to not being stainless.

I've had mine for 5 years and it hasn't rusted through yet, but if you want you could give it a few coats of high temp rustproof paint or something before you put it on.

 

i dont believe they make the ws1 anymore... i bought a ws2 stainless steel(tip) from a local shop they also had the full kit in black... piping and tip... kinda like your picture.... if your wondering here is how it sounds on a b16a2 I/H/E (my old car).
