Default throttle body pulley

when changing your pulley from a non gsr to a type r style is it possible to just flip the pulley. because i just did that so i can use my type r cable. it seems to work pretty good. has anyone else done this? how hard is it to tune a throttle body. its just one adjustment screw correct? or should i just put an ls pulley on. the ls pulley i have seems to not work because it doesnt have the second stopper when the butterfly is fully open. this ls pulley came off a 94 integra. also it has two cable routs for crouse control. so what should i do. i know the two cable routes dont mean anything but can i just leave the gsr pulley flipped? also this is a power throttle body 65 mm
