Assembly high compression milled motor
This is my first "real" build but I have a few knowledgeable friends helping me assemble this motor. I plan to clay the motor, Degree the cams, check v2v clearance and run a thicker Cometic headgasket somewhere around .040". What is the general consensus on maximum headgasket thickness on an all motor car?
Am I overlooking anything as far as the actual motor assembly the is critical to getting it right?
p30 pistons
shotpeened ls rods
Arps
Skunk2 Pro series valvetrain
p&p PR3 head
bronze valve guides
valve job
milled .040
CTR intake cam
JDM 4-1
2.5 in mandrel exhaust
310 RCs
GSR trans
Will be tuned by blundar with ectune as soon as its complete
According to Zealautowerks and C-speedracing my c/r is going to be high 13s (zeal) to high 12s (c-speed). Im not sure Ive accurately compensated for the change in the combustion chamber volume. Id like to know what this motors dynamic compression ratio will be at 800 ft elevation. Can anyone help me out?
I dont mind running half 93/94 and half Cam2 but its gonna be expensive and also be a grenade waiting to pop, id like to get an accurate c/r so I can lower it to make this motor a little more street friendly in this regard.
Thanks for everyone's input!

why are you only running a ctr cam? with pro series valvetrain.. you need some better cams in there if this is going to be an all motor setup.. that cam would be good for a turbo car... but you can gain 20+hp with a good set of cams.
and have you milled the head already? i would advise against that if you haven't. if you have already then i'd run the thicker headgasket to make up for it.
