Wiring OEM SI Tweeters in 96 CX Hatch??
Like it says, I sourced a pair of factory SI tweeters from a 2000 SI at work and decided to cut my manual mirror ***** off to make these oem tweeter fit. I got them to work but was wondering if I am getting full potential out of them the way I wired them. To me I would imagine the only difference between the way I wired them and the way they come wired from Honda is the plug, which I dont have, I had to cut it off seeing that my car was not pre-wired for this setup.
I just tapped into the door speakers wire, is this correct? and does anyone else have this setup that can inform me of any tips and tricks of there install, that'd be great.
Thanks in Advance

unless your tweeters come with built in crossovers then you wired them wrong. If they didn't just buy a crossover to put between the speaker wires and the tweeters.
P.S. this is the wrong forum to post this topic in, try audio/security next time.

the guys right... u wired them wrong. a tweeter is for highs and without a crossover u are sending the mids to the tweeter. they'll work but go buy some crossovers to make them better.
