Default When boring block from 81 to 84+ mm, same for combustion chamber?

There was some discussion a while back in which there was pretty much a split in opinion on whether or not one who is boring out their block from 81.0 to say an 84.5mm bore that they should also open up the combustion chamber in the head to match the bore...but then some others seemed to say that it was better off to leave the combustion chamber stock...can someone clear this up for me, maybe explain why it should or shouldn't be done? thanks
