Default GSR/LS exhaust question

ok, so i know that LS and GSR headers are different lenghts, making the exhaust shorter/longer from cat back.

so my question is.. which one is which, i have heard LS is shorter, and longer. and visa versa for GSR.

im buying new exhaust for my GSR swaped LS and i have the short headers. (i had some different headers i was going to put on but they where too long)

ive done research, both finding out what confused me more.

ive also heard 00-01 is diffrent than 94-99???

help me!

HEADER!!! I say bring it to a muffler shop and let them do the work. Faster, easier, and less of a headache

I ordered a 94-99 gsr header for my ls vtec(b16 head b18b1 block)and it was a short by like 5 inches or so and had no o2 bung.so I had a local shop extend the header and install an o2 bung(20 bucks)and installed them on my car and works perfect.
