Keep it or trade it!
For some time now, I have considered trading off my 2007 EX Coupe. Here is a poll. Tell me what you think, your opinion goes a long way! My car is Royal Blue Pearl, and you can see in my signature block the mods so far. Oh, if you add a choice, please be real about it!
Are there any particular circumstances that are causing you to contemplate this decision? Expecting kids? Car giving you problems? Not fast enough? Not big enough?
Give us a little more info. to help you out with your decision.
You've got the car with the best gas mileage and highest reliability of all the choices you posted. Best overall value IMO.
But if you still decide to trade it...don't get the Jeep.

No reasons really. I am a 4x4 person at heart, specifically trucks. I got the Civic to help with mileage when I was driving home every weekend from a job that was 5 hours away. I really love my Civic, but I am a volunteer firefighter, live in the county but on paved roads, and going to New Mexico for five months starting next week. If I got the Bimmer I would give it to the wife and take her 2003 Pilot for myself. On the Jeep I would keep it and on the pilot, well the same but we would have two of them which is kind of goofy really. I have owned a Bimmer in the past, but it was a 95 318is with 18's dropped and really lookin nice! Daughter ended up with it and traded it off later. So that is my story. Im 48yrs old so there will be no new kids! If I keep my Civic I want new wheels and tires in the worst way. I have Tein's on it now and it really needs the wheels to look right. There are pics on here somewhere of it. Did this long story answer your question?
i chose the bmw. i had a 91 318i up until about 4 days ago when the timing chain crapped out. i like bmw. plus, if u had an SI i would definitely say keep it, but since its not... get the bmw
Well the Civic would definitely help on the gas mileage....especially if you're going to be driving alot. But on the flip side....the SUV (Honda Pilot) would be a much more comfortable ride and would also offer more room and comfortability to take your fellow fire-fighters or members of your unit out for a get-together. Not to mention the added space to carry any equipment you might need on your assignment.
Then again you've invested some money into the Civic already. If it's really not suiting you....then I would suggest the new 2008 Honda Accords if it's in your budget. They are extremely roomy and look pretty formal as well. The engine power has been increased on the EX model and the ride would be alot smoother while still getting very good gas mileage.
Otherwise I would suggest to just keep the EX or get the Honda Pilot. Wouldn't recommend the Jeep as their reliability has really gone down the tubes.

Those new Wranglers are very expensive. There is a Dodge/Jeep dealer next to my Honda dealer. The Wrangler I looked at was fully loaded, and it was like $35k or some **** like that. Way too much for any Jeep, if you ask me. The Bimmer are really nice and luxurious, but I don't trust BMW reliability. I'd be afraid the wiring would go crazy and the thing would burn to the ground. I am partial to Hondas, because I've owned four, and my family has owned 7. That's why I'd go with the Pilot. You already know all of its pros and cons, because your wife has one. You obviously think its a good enough vehicle to consider again, so why not?

BMW depreciation = horrendous
Pilot = Due for a redesign
Jeep = american/bland styling, depreciation, and on the cusp of more "employee pricing" due to decline in the market, coming off the worst sales year in automotive history.
If you don't need a truck, keep your EX the hit you will take on it will nullify the move, get another year out of it and upgrade.

In the end you gotta consider two things...
Cost and Choice. You need to stick to your budget, but you don't want to be paying for something you don't like. Find the midpoint, and you have your answer.

Well yea I agree...lol. I was just giving him my choice if he went with one of the suvs. Apparently, he's doing fine with the civic, so why not stick with it, right?

HONDA FOR LIFE!
if you want to get rid of it try to figure out why? is it missing something in a certain category? acceleration, steering, other performance, lux factor, price, BLING factor, etc. do you not like the wheels? lol
if it's something you can take care of via aftermarket CHEAPER than trading it in then you should. if its not the right size shoe for you then, check out all the other neat honda's before you ditch the company. from s2000 to ridgeline they cover a lot of ground with there product mix.
I would love to have a FIT for a daily if i had the extra money laying around, or an ELEMENT for that matter.
my $0.02 (i'm very brand loyal person though...)

I do like those wheels. I was looking at something in gunmetal or bronze, but the same style, like Tenzo DC5's or something. But I do like them. I PM'd you about it. Thanks
In fact, I like the car so much and happy to keep it that I just put my Infinity separates back in it. Oh, the joy of better sound! LOL
Now, about those wheels............................................ ...

not the car just the wheels! I want a set of work emotions 17's I like the wheels but I want to do some track runs and a smaller size will work better for me. I do like the S2K but I am a big guy and dont fit in one! LOL the si is the best all around car out for me @ this point. I love my SI but the quality is not as good as it should be, Its not to the point of not buying another Honda but some things could be better. I am looking at the pontiac g8 for 2nd car but am waiting to see how they do in the states before I jump in one.

hey sarge I cant seem to figure out how to PM you! im kinda SLOW! LOL but I have them listed in the for sale tread for $1000 5 rims and 6 tires I like to have a full size spare and extra tires for an emergency so I don't have to search and wait. they are about 7 month old and in good shape a few marks from road deb re but nothing bad I spent around $1600 on everything so I think what I am asking is very fair. let me know if you want some pics. the color is hyper black! I was looking @ the TENZO R dc6 in bronze, the works I want are the same style.
