Ok, well to make a long story short I have a 98 EX, my window came off track and I read through some diy's to take the panel off and I managed to fix the window. But wouldn't ya know it I got another problem.

I reconnected the door lock switch and went to put the handle cover back on and the button was stuck open and wouldn't lock with my thumb. So I pulled the rod to lock the button, not the switch the tab. And now I can't unlock it, once I reconnected the switch. wtf is up???? I'm so frustrated...

Is there a saftey mechnism or something I tripped????

well I got it to be unlocked now just not lock on the drivers side. My car does have an alarm so it's not the biggest deal. But still I don't get it.... Just the drivers side does has this problem.

Did this happen because i had the handle open when i pulled the latch? When I put the panel back on is something being pinched that wont allow it to function properly?
