Default Nuts on ECM Cover

Does anyone know what kind of socket to use, they are squre but have slight round edges on the four corners. I am trying to take this cover off to ident the ecu that is installed, I just dont want to assume its a p13.

Oh and on the passager kick panel what is the black box that sits on top of the metal abs controller? Anyone know what that is, or am I special?

Its square, of my 250 sockets none of them are square. Only socket that fits is a 10mm, it sits on it but will strip the nut.

Were probably stripped by previous owner... I'd get a set of new bolts and a set of those special sockets for stripped bolts.
