What knuckles for 11inch conversion for 1991 EF CRX?
I tried fitting a JDM EF9 front knuckle and it didnt work. The front wheels were both pointing inwards, too much TOE IN. I've always thought that EF9 knuckles will fit but it seems that the steering tie rod position on the knuckle is different for the EF9. Why is this so? Is it because they are meant for power steering steering racks? I tried to dial out the excess toe in but there isnt enough adjustment on the tie rod.
I've since found DA7 knuckles but its not a straight fitment for 11inch rotors. I've been told to use DA6 knuckles instead, aren't they the same?
Are the 5lug accord calipers similar to prelude ones? Both have 282mm rotors.
thanks!

thank you for the link. Very helpful.
Can someone shed light on the difference between ef9 knuckles and ef7? Arent they supposed to be direct drop in?

Search, there is a great write up on comparison of all the knuckles that fit on a crx. It even listed the problems you are having with the toe or camber.
I wish i saved it

I've spent the last hour reading all related threads about knuckle conversion. However non of them addressed the massive toe in problem i encountered when i fitted the JDM EF9 knuckles.
The ef9 knuckles where the tie rod ends attach to seems to be angled outwards, so when they were fitted, the toe in was so much, it was like half a turn of the steering wheel.
I maxed out the tie rod ends but there is still too much toe in, how can i solve this?
There is also some negative camber looking at it, does anyone have experience with these knuckles?
Are the JDM EF9 knuckles same as the SIR?
Thanks
