Default 96 Accord Ex project help...

I have a 96 Honda Accord Ex with a F22b1 Motor(SOHC VTEC).... it has 205,000 miles on it my friend said should just put together a custom turbo setup on it and have fun with it.... then drop a h22 in it and use the turbo setup on that (minus the turbo manifold)

if i do what is a turbo for the f22b1 and h22 since it will probably be on both motors?

will my motor handle a like 6lbs? i know a factory motor can take 6lbs but one with 205 thousand miles on it... O.o questionable at best

if you have any ideas or thoughts please feel free to suggest

thanks

PS how long before my profile here is no longer trial?

i had a friend that did 10 pounds of boost on stock internals, it was running fine but started to leak oil. i suggest save the money and buy the turbo when you get the h22, no point on wasting time on turboing the f22 when your just going to swap out anyways.

but if your going to go ahead and do it anyways, i suggest changing the piston rings and head gasket as a percaution. there might be other things like fuel injectors and such but if your just thinking about thrashing the f22 then do what ever. just stay about 7 pounds of boost for good measures.

an i think your trial will end in a week or so.

in my opinion, i would just save up to do the h22 w/ turbo, and use some quality parts, and do some other upgrades such as some suspension, or whatever floats your boat

instead of turboing both

but its you car

and ur trial should end a week after you joined

Yeah i was just thinkin that same about just saving up and droppin the turbo h22 in there... but do they make swap turbo kits for the h22 motor in the accord?

and as far as suspension there are a grip of coilover springs on ebay for cheap but are cheaply made i would like to have good quality for decent amout... this car is my daliy driver and i just want it to be more fun....

any websites that have good parts for cheap?
