Default Rear wheel bearing replacement using Prelude parts? Cheaper if so!

First off, I have searched lol. While speaking with Nike sb'd about replacing the rear wheel bearing on my civic(with CTR suspension!) he mentioned to me to save costs, that a Prelude rear may work.
As you can see by pictures below, the shape of the hubs are diff, but the question is: Would it still work? Is the Prelude assembly 32mm? Are the spindles the same length?
Sons wants 142 dollars per side versus 104 dollars at Majestic for Prelude.

You might want to make a thread in the prelude forum asking BB6 owners what the length and diameter of the spindle is, then compare that to your existing CTR one. Or like I said we can take your hub down to honda and just compare to a prelude...

They're $38 cheaper thats why you're asking? I dont think many of us have been dumb or cheap enough to try that, most ITR owners will gladly fork over the extra $40 for the right part. You'll probably have to look very carefully at both side by side if saving that money is really that important to you.

H22s do the same thing as B18C5s and they're cheaper, why not get that too?

Not really, it completely follows the logic brought forth in this thread. Until someone (with some mechanical knowledge) sits down with both of these parts and some very accurate measuring tools we wont know. I look forward to seeing what you guys find.

we are talking about a replacement part of a system, not a entire system replacement.

an couple of examples you could have used that would have made more sense are:

gsr vs. itr cams
brembo rotor vs autozone rotor
h22a lma vs itr lma
