I'm most likely buying the DRAG Kit off of Overboost.com. For $3200 you get a turbo kit, plus an HKS turbo timer, an HKS VBC manual boost controller, and an HKS boost gauge.

DRAG will only give you problems. I think you should go with the F-Max since it will fit better and run more reliably. You will end up spending less in the short and long run.

The only problem is that the F-Max isn't made for my car exactly... It says for a 98+ F23 VTEC... I have an F23A5 non-VTEC from the DX (sucks, doesnt it?)... Does anyone know if the manifolds will be different?? Would a turbo kit for a VTEC F23 fit a non-VTEC??

you shouldn't be too worried about having the Non-vtec dx motor. that one has like a 8.8:1 cr instead of 9.5:1 in the VTEC motor. don't waste your money on a thicker head gasket, you already have a very low compression motor. and later on you can do the VTEC head swap if you really want to. it won't be any more difficult to do than a LS/VTEC head swap

What motor has a 9.5:1 CR? F22B1s have a 8.8:1 just like the F22B2s... as far as I know, the F22Ax motors had 8.8:1s as well.

Correct, the F22A1, F22A4, and F22A6 all have a 8.8:1 compression ratio.

2.3 liters of displacement and a 9.3 cr and only 150hp is pathetic. God damned soccer moms.

i agree plus the timer and vbc and boost gauge dont run that much compared to what youll end up paying in the long haul
