Hey guys im getting ready to purchase a new intake for my 96 Teg Gsr.. What intake out there is the best? yea i know alot of ppl claim that a tube and a filter is just as good as a top dollar intake, but i was just wondering what i should purchase.. my price limit is $200.00... with that in mind what out there has shown the best performance upgrade..

the k&n you posted will do.
i like the heat shield.
but as you know there are much cheaper diy alternatives.

 

You dont stand to make a lot of power with any intake whether it's a name brand or not...i would go with a K&N filter on a piece of 3" pipe. There's no need to spend $200 when $50 will suffice

 

i love my password jdm kevler intake sonds mean as hell and looks great and helped throttle response.
