Default EF9 Suspension Tear down! Updated 3-11-08

Well I went to put on my new control arms and sway bars.

Then decided it all looked dirty, so I pulled it completely out.

Some pics of the tear down....for before and after pics.

So here is my list of whats going on in the rear.

Function 7 Type R control arms
Function 7 Endlinks
Cusco Blue ST sway bars
Cusco Camber kit
Cusco Exhaust Hangers
Stop Tech SS lines
ST Toe Adjustment kit

And then powdercoat everything under the car black. So I completly gutted the setup. And get the Brake calipers cleaned up real nice.

This all started because after 2 hours of cleaning..It looked like the pic below. And I knew i wouldnt be happy with that. So thats when the teardown began. No worries....it will look flawless.

My progress so far.

Ripped everything out. Cleaned it like crazy and then used a bed liner spray under the whole car.

So here is a current pic. Almost ready to start putting it back together.

Looks good though. Did you just do the wheel well or the bottom of the car too?

The bottom of the whole car so far up to the front tires....next is complete front suspension and powdercoat.

I already had SiR sway bars....and my car already slides around real nice. I am still going to put it on...and can always go back to my SiR.
