Default B20vtec help! car runs like crap.

hello honda-tech,
first of all i am new here but been around the honda scene since it boomed.
i think you guys are great. i have a dilemma

i just swapped in my B20vtec build into my 96 civic hatchback.
nothing too fancy the build is basically stock. it was running on my crx about 6 months ago flawlessly. heres the thing. my car runs like total **** and i dont know whats the problem anymore. i think it runs really rich cuz when i took out the spark plugs, i could smell fuel on it and it was wet. it has a hard time idling also. fuel pressure is good reading about 42psi. it also has a new distributor. the only check engine light it throws is iat and o2 sensors. the car was originally automatic so i had to extend some wires and did the 2 wire iacv and convereted my car to obd1 with a jumper. my ecu is also good cuz it is a chipped p28 with a basemap.tps and map sensors are good as it doesnt throw any codes and the tps is well calibrated still in its factory position. tried changing injectors but the problem still persisted. im running out of ideas and im thinking it might be electrical problem. can anyone chime on this?
opinions will be greatly appreciated so please feel free. if you have any more questions just ask me. thank you guys.

You fixed the problems and its still running like ****?

Maybe a shitty chip. Oh wait, thats the only kind of chip there is. Get it tuned, properly. Your engine will thank you.

Not true. It has been done more than once. The car will start, it just won't run very well.

The car will start easily. I used to reverse the plugs on fellow students cars in the shop in college all the time.

Everyone has to start somewhere and this is the first time I have encountered a problem like this. Instead of making a smart-*** remark, you should just share your wealth of knowledge. Isn't that what Honda-Tech is for?

i did try switching the plugs. that was the first thing i did a month ago when it was still down. all the possible little things i havee done already. changed wires, tps and map sensor, checked timing, changed injectors, fpr, spark plugs, distributor, etc. and the car is still acting up and bogging.

how was it connected in your crx ? with an obd0 distributor and single wire o2 ? how did you connect the o2 and which distributor in the EK ?

did you swap around the distrib crank and cam wires when it was in the crx ? they need to be reswapped when in the EK assuming you're using the same obd1 distributor.

when you see alot of unbruned fuel, its prolly burning on 1 or 2 cyls. to check, when the car is idling just pour lil water on each runner of the header and the cold ones are either deal or misfiring cause your distrib wires.

when my motor was on my crx, i used the crx harness, had an extra obd0 distributor for it, also with the single wire o2 sensor. thanks ill try doing that. i also had a brand new set of msd wires i borrowed from a friend and it didnt solve the problem.

ok this might sound funny but u have changed ur injectors. did u go back to obd0 or did u go to obd1. if ur running obd0 injectors without a resister box that might be a prob. im not sure just somthing to check. lmk if u figure out ur problem.
