Default removing cruise control from 98 honda civic

I am looking into removing the cruise control from my car and I have not been able to find any articles on the web on how to. help please

Why? It weighs a whopping pound. Leave it in there.
But if you're convinced to do this, it's not brain surgery. Unbolt everything, unplug the module, follow the cable wherever it starts, disconnect, done.
