Default CRX Thermosensor Question...

Just finished up replacing my clutch on stock motor, but... as I was putting the tranny back on a couple wires broke loose from a plug that goes into the motor right under the distributor. From pictures that I have looked at online I'm thinking it was the Thermosensor plug which I think controls the fan. Correct me if I'm wrong but if anyone has a picture of this area and can post it up showing me the Thermosensor plug. If this is the thermosensor can just the plug be replaced or do I need to find the whole part of that wiring harness. Does a parts store like Advance Auto/Auto Zone carry it or only Honda dealer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fan switch is on the thermostat housing, the ones on the head are temperature sensors, one for the cluster, and the other for the ECU.

EDIT: PM and figured out he had an 1988 CRX. (browsing too many forums at once) Correct location is near the oil filter on the back of the block, large two pin connector.

If its the black sensor with the gold hex head and 2 prongs then its the temp sensor.

I have attached a picture of where the plug broke loose from the wires. If someone could let me know for sure what this plug is so that I can request one in the WTB section. My guess from research is the Thermosensor plug for the ECU which controls the fan.

that is for the ecu to see the water temp, the little one next to it is for the gauge cluster, the ecu does not control the fan it has a fan switch on the back of the block for that

You seriously made a post to say that you posted a pic in the post right above it. Priceless.
