Which version of Rsx-s
Between the 02-04 Rsx-s and 05+ Rsx-s. Which is more mod friendly, when it comes bolt on's and k-pro? I plan on getting one in a month or so. I can't decide from the two, and I've only driven them in stock form. Input's, would be highly appreciated.
03-04 has k20a2 motor which i think is better than 05/06 k20z1, but it's really up to you. In my opinion, 06 type-s looks really great exterior and interior but i had to go with the 03-04 A2 motor engine wise.

Depends... In terms of performance the z1 has a slight advantage. Better flowing exhaust comes with the 05-06's, cams, etc.
However if you want to go K-Pro, it is cheaper and easier on the a2. Easier to find trannys for a2, since lot of other honda trannys can mate up to it.
Trying to be non-biased here since i am a 05 owner.

i have owned an a2 and z1 motors in my rsx and i have to say i am very happy with the z1 over the a2 only complaint i have about the z1 is i dont like the single valve spring setup but i do plan to switch to dual valve springs this summer when i get some work done.

The '05-'06 RSX Type-S are a bit quicker than the previous models and has a few OEM parts that can be made to resemble a DC5R in terms of performance. Please explain to me your reasoning why you think the k20a2 is better than the k20z1.
