looking at crutchfields website it says i need 6.5" speakers for teh front and rear. i'm no stereo expert but it doesnt look like they will fit. it looks like 5.25" would be the correct ones.

any help would be appreciated

 

I have 5 and 1/4 speakers in the front doors on my 91 sedan. The rears are 6 1/2 but I think you need the optional speaker "pods" to put the rears in. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

 

6.5's all the way around, you can put 5.25's in there though

 

this maybe crossing the line into the audio/alarm forum but, will making some boxes for under the rear deak help sound quality?? and are there stock grills for the rear deck??

(just bought the car, my first sedan, it has no radio or speakers)

 

Yeah they should have rear grills on the parcel shelf. But if you make sound box under the 'deck' it will hit on the bar's that hold your trunk lid open.
