steering wheel shaking at highway speeds???
we just bought a 03 acura mdx, love the truck but when we are at highway speeds there is a slight vibration to the steering wheel, more then in our 07 camary and 01 tiburon. it sometimes stops when its a real smooth surface and at lower speeds. is it because its awd or is there somthing wrong?
At highway speeds generally points in the direction of a high speed tire balance. Take it to your local tire shop and they should be able to take care of it for you.
I just bought an 04 CRV with the same problem, after I bought the thing (certified, HAHA) they spent a week trying to fix it to include giving me new tires, but its still there. I told them to look at the linkage but they said its ok, there is also a popping sound when you turn the wheels back and fourth on the right side (its not the CV Joint) so I took it in agian. Lower ball joint on left side bad but the right side is popping. How can I verify the tie rods are bad to prove it to the dealer?
