need help just changed fuel filter and gas mileage seems to be going down
Like the title says. Its a 4th gen with h22 swap i changed my fuel filter and my mileage sucks. Would tightening the service bolt or the fuel line cause this or what? Thanks for the help

if you are sure it's not leaking around either end of the filter, it shouldnt' make a difference. Is the car running better with the new filter? If so, it may be that the car is actually getting the gas it needed but wasn't getting.

yeah teh car is running better and its not leaking i was hoping to save money on gas that sucks. I guess it makes sense though, thanks

lord only knows i got the car at 190,000 miles. All i know is the fuel coming out of it looked brown. So i know it was long over due. I just got the time to do it a few days ago either way it runs better now
